If you wish to start broadcasting your content on Eleven Sports, there are different ways you can choose to produce your content and quickly have it live on your TV.

Each model will require different equipment, so you'll find here a quick introduction to them. Most of them require a team of two people to broadcast, one for filming and another one for doing our Live Studio production (that is, adding scoreboard and timer and creating clips for highlights). However, if you choose to stream with our mobile app, you can also do so as a Solo Operator: filming and adding the main highlights directly on the screen of your phone.

In short, those are the three models you can choose to stream on our platform:

1. Smartphone with the Eleven Sports Broadcast app

Equipment needed:

  • Smartphone (iOS or Android) connected to the internet (preferably 4G);

  • Tripod;

  • Optional: Computer (for the studio production).

People needed:

  • One, if using the Solo Operator tools;

  • Or two - one for filming, and another one for the studio production.

Probably the best and easiest way to stream your matches is with the Eleven Sports broadcast app for iOS and Android. Our app has been developed to allow you to stream without having to purchase additional equipment and to go live with only 3 clicks.

All you need is a smartphone, a tripod and a reliable internet connection. It’s a great solution for a small budget, and a representation of our core vision at Eleven Sports: providing the tools clubs need to be heard, for free.

You can tag the main highlights directly on the screen of your phone, thus allowing you to stream with a single person. Alternatively, one person can be in charge of filming while a second one can make use of the full Live Studio tools on a computer.

2. Camera or multi-camera setup with a Live Streaming Encoder

Equipment needed:

  • Camcorder or multi-camera setup with HDMI output;

  • Tripod;

  • Live streaming encoder;

  • 4G Router (if no cabled connection is available at the venue);

  • Computer (for the studio production).

People needed:

  • Two - one for filming, and another one for the studio production.

Our second option is by using a camera paired with an encoding device: if you wish to use a camera to stream, you can also do so for a very low price. For this, you can use a camcorder (or a multi-camera setup) with a HDMI output, paired with an encoding device with internet access.

This option is widely used by our partners who want to enhance their production value during the streams without a very high budget.

3. Camera or multi-camera setup with a computer and streaming software

Equipment needed:

  • Camcorder or multi-camera setup with HDMI or SDI output;

  • Tripod;

  • Capture card;

  • Computer with a streaming software (the same computer can be used for the studio).

People needed:

  • Two - one for filming, and another one for the studio production.

Our third option is by using a software for streaming the signal. This method allows you to connect your camera (or multiple cameras) to a computer, using a capture card and a streaming software of your liking, in order to create custom graphics, replays, etc.

DID YOU KNOW? You can use different production models in different matches; there's no obligation to stick to just one of them! In fact, if you have an equipment failure, you can even switch between different models half-way through a live event - for example, you could disconnect your encoding device and reconnect with your smartphone in an emergency. This gives you the freedom to choose what is best for your TV in each circumstance.
